Will Window Tint Effect My Plants?

Will window tint effect my indoor house plants?I don’t know about you, but I love my indoor plants. I know I could get fake ones, and yes they can look pretty real, but to me a real living plant just makes my house a home. So I totally understand where you’re comimg from when you ask this question.

The short answer is, no. The long answer is, no but they might need a short period of time to adjust to it. However, most plants don’t even need to adjust to the window film at all. Actually if you have an indoor plant that is right next to a window and it gets direct sunlight, the leaves can sometimes get wilted. However, with the window tint applied this doesn’t usually happen and typically that plant will thrive even more with the window film installed.

Now, that being said, if you have some exotic plants in your house, my suggestion is to ask a nursery for advice just to make sure it won’t have an effect on the plants.
