It’s getting to be the time of year when the sun sits lower on the horizon. Which means it’ll be shining in through east, west and south facing windows. It even peaks in through the side windows on your cars more this time of year. Why do I bring this up?

The winter sun might pose threats not often thought about. Like what? It’s harmful UV rays can cause skin cancer, eye damage and fading. In addition, the glare from the low sun can be very intense. These UV rays can penetrate unprotected glass. So if you’re near a window where the sun is shining through, even in winter, you’re exposing yourself to these dangers. What can you do?

Vista Window films, or window tints, can block 99.9% of the sun’s harmful UV rays from entering. In addition to blocking the UV rays it can also help reduce glare, retain heat in the winter, block out heat in the summer and lower your energy bills.

Here at Precision Film we install residential window tint and commercial window tint.
